President Tehran – Masoud Pezeshkian focuses on boosting Iran’s strategic projects. He was previously appointed Ali-Akbar Ahmadian, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), and leads the newly created “Iranian Headquarters for the Development of National and Strategic Projects.”
In a statement released Wednesday, Pezeschkian said the new headquarters was intended to bring the government and people closer. The majority of this is that it is easy for everyone to participate, especially for Iranians living abroad and investors from both inside and outside the country.
The main task of the Ahmadian is to unlock Iran’s possibilities, especially the knowledge and skills of top thinkers. He will be at the helm with a newly established body after becoming social media secretary from May 2023 until last week when veteran politician Ali Larijani replaced him. Ahmadian is also a member of the Convenient Identification Council, which he has served since 2022. He has also had a long career as a military authorities who served in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) since the Iran-Iraq War in the 1980s.
