During the ongoing legal proceedings against the Tehran-Mohahedin-E-Hulk Organisation (MEK), the Tehran criminal court heard new evidence linking terrorist groups to Israeli attacks during the recent 12-day war, including targeting civilian hospitals.
During the 36th public session held at Tehran Criminal Court Branch 11 on Tuesday, Judge Hojatreslam Amir Reza Dekkani announced that MEK operatives had collected data on traffic flows near Farabi Hospital in Kermansha and coordinated with Israeli intelligence news by passing the territory in Telbib. The information was used to carry out a fatal strike in the hospital.
Judge Dehqani held the hearing by denouncement of Israel’s actions and praise Iranian forces for defending national sovereignty in the face of foreign-sponsored terrorism. He also expressed his sadness to the families of those killed in recent wars, declaring:
“We are witnessing a new stage of hegemonic attacks aimed at destabilizing an independent state by assassinating intellectual and scientific leaders. These actions are designed to maintain an unjust global order maintained by arrogant forces.”
Martial Scientist Daughter Demands Justice
Zofel Abbasi Davani, daughter of Dr. Feredun Abbasi Davani, the daughter of the late nuclear scientist, has fallen into a recent Israeli-led attack and is seeking accountability in a 2010 assassination attempt against his father.
“The second attack claimed my father’s life, re-shot my mother and killed my neighbor. The 28 families were evacuated. My father was not a military figure. He was a university professor dedicated to the scientific advancement of the country.”
Following her statement, Judge Dehqani revealed that new documents and testimony filed by the second defendant showed active cooperation between MEK members and Israeli operatives, particularly in identifying and targeting Iranian nuclear scientists. He said that if the evidence is fully reviewed and guaranteed, it will be referred to the prosecutor’s office.
Another assassinated scientist widow: MEK targeted Iran’s scientific core
Another prominent Iranian nuclear physicist widow who was assassinated in another incident also testified.
“Ten days before his death, my husband showed me an email from the nuclear site and a satellite image that MEK had sent. When he refused to be involved, they killed him.”
She added: “MEK has betrayed the people of Iran since the revolution. The murder of my husband was not merely a personal loss, but an attack on the scientific backbone of the country.
Conclusion of her testimony, she formally sued the charges.
