President Tehran – Masoud Pezeshkian has confirmed that his government will work closely with the leaders of the Islamic Revolution to carry out all foreign policy decisions and negotiations.
“No international relations or negotiation policies are pursued without the approval of the leader,” Pezeschkian said on Sunday that Journalist Day was held in Tehran during a meeting with media leaders.
The president emphasized that the alignment was “not just a slogan” but a core principle of his administration. “From both a scientific and ideological perspective, I firmly believe that anything that contradicts the views of our leaders must be avoided,” he added.
Pezeschkian described Ayatollah Khamenei as “the pillars and foundations of the Islamic Republic,” emphasising that all issues should coincide with his leadership.
Regarding domestic policy, the president emphasized the importance of national unity, the key focus of his government. He warned that weakening national unity would harm the country.
“During the 12 days of war, the enemy was hoping for internal division and rebellion, and they are waiting for it,” Pezeschkian said. “The nation must overcome its enemy through unity and solidarity.”
