Tehran-Shargh investigated disarmament campaigns against regional resistance groups and considered them in an interview with senior international expert Mashallah Shamsol -Vaezin.
He said: Over the past few months, the Middle East security development course has shifted to coordinated efforts to disarm non-state actors in several parallel aspects. A move that was presented by several local and out-of-regional authority as a step towards “stabilization,” but is a sign of the formation of complex, multi-layered equations in the new security orders in the region. All new reality in the Middle East follows the event on October 7th, and the reason for this lies in one sentence. The Islamic Republic of Iran has enabled a critical and crushed response to Israeli and the US invasion, both in the true promise I and II operations and in the 12-day war. Tehran’s influence and power will not be significant if the Islamic Republic of Iran loses its strategic military ties with Hezbollah, the popular mobilising forces, Ansalala, the Islamic Jihad Movement, Hamas and other regional groups. In other words, we are witnessing the spread of resistance ideology in the Islamic world, the catalyst for this expansion.
Javan: Regional Consortium is the solution to contain US influence in Zangezur
In the memo, Javan proposed a solution to curb the US impact on the Zanegzur corridor. In negotiations last March, Trump’s Secretary of State Rubio took the first steps to bring Azerbaijan closer to Armenia, and last Friday (August 8), Trump announced two peace deals between two white countries and a transport and trade deal called the “Trump Route.” There is no mention of corridors, geopolitical or geographical cuttings between Iran and Armenia. The emphasis is on the commercial and transport nature between Armenia and the American side, or between the American companies that intend to develop it. Under the pretext, America’s presence in the region promises crisis, evil and confusion. Therefore, rapid diplomatic movements with major regional parties can achieve commercial goals and prevent the presence of evil Americans, British and Zionians in the region, with the problems of transport and commercial consortiums in Armenia’s geography.
Iran: Sustainable stability in this region is essential
In its analysis, the Iranian newspaper discussed Larijani’s visit to Baghdad and Lebanon. The visit of Larijani is evaluated based on two main pillars. First, a commitment to fully implementing the security agreement and completing the process of clearing common boundaries from the existence and impact of terrorist groups. Second, a declaration of explicit support for the Iraqi Congress’ resolution to expel American troops from the country. Iran believes that achieving sustainable stability requires regional unity and the simultaneous use of all legitimate tools, including diplomacy. The overall outcome of this trip can be analyzed on three levels: First, we will integrate security and operational cooperation between Iran and Iraq to counter the general threats. Second, it coordinates the positions of both countries on Syria and Lebanon, particularly in the face of plans to disarm resistance. Third, it establishes comprehensive political and military coordination to prepare for potential conflict scenarios involving the Zionist regime and its allies.
Arman-E-Emrooz: Washington’s most important goals from the Zangezur deal
Arman-e-Melli spoke with Dr. Mohsen Jalilvand, a university professor and international relations analyst, to look into the US goals of the Zangezur agreement. He said: Perhaps one day Iran wants to pass energy to Europe, the route through the Zanegzur corridor will be the route for Iran to first export oil and gas to Eastern and Western Europe. Of course, this situation does not exist in the current situation, and Iran faces challenges in supplying its energy. The reality is that all countries in the region welcome Iran to become weaker every day. This contract was also in this context. Actions and decisions that will cause Iran to weaken will benefit them. The US and Russia are also more interested in this situation. For this reason, they follow this approach to Iran at a minimum cost. The main goal of such an agreement is to isolate Iran in the region and the world.
