Tehran – The 3rd International Exhibition and Conference on Sustainable Cities is scheduled to take place on Kish Bay Island from October 13th to 16th.
Sustainable cities are cities designed with social, economic and environmental impacts (commonly referred to as triple bottom lines) in mind, and resilient habitats for existing populations.
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11 is defined as a focus on achieving green, social and economic sustainability, promoting opportunities to prioritize inclusion, and maintaining sustainable economic growth.
The goal is to minimize energy, water and food inputs, and significantly reduce waste as well as heat and air pollution (including CO2, methane and water pollution).
Therefore, the exhibition aims to develop smart urban management, sustainable economy, new and renewable energy, green and sustainable transport, environmental protection, sustainable smart buildings, smart government, information and communication equipment and infrastructure, research, innovation, knowledge-based economy, and social sustainability and security.
The event brings together key stakeholders, urban leaders, investors, innovators and policymakers from around the world to explore solutions and opportunities in the areas of urban sustainability, smart cities, infrastructure development and green investment.
In addition to the main exhibition, the event will showcase specialized panels, networking sessions and cultural programs, providing a unique platform for dialogue and collaboration.
It presents the latest technological achievements in the field of sustainable and smart industry and urban areas, promotes sustainable approaches in development, introduces new concepts in the field of structure and sustainable urban design, and introduces the development of transportation infrastructure.
Iran Smart City
The 5th Iran Smart City International Conference was held in Tehran from October 28th to 30th, 2024.
The meeting focused on a variety of topics, including smart economy, smart life, smart governance, smart environment, smart transport, smart transformation, and more.
Smart cities are key to achieving smart society and sustainable development. Transferring global experiences and exchanging knowledge and expertise can promote and accelerate the movement towards creating smart cities.
