Tehran – Iran’s Intelligence Ministry of Intelligence is publishing information from a large cache of confidential documents obtained from Israel’s military and nuclear programs.
Intelligence Minister Esmaeil Khatib said the file includes the full names, personal data, addresses and expert affiliations of 189 Israeli nuclear and military experts who are directly linked to the weapons project. He said the list continues to grow as Iranian experts analyze the material.
The revelation was featured in a documentary entitled Spider’s Lair, which aired on IRIB on Wednesday night. According to Khatib, the program outlines how Iranian intelligence agency earned cash. This includes details from researchers, scientists and senior project managers. Among them, he said, Americans and European scientists involved in Israel’s weapons-related programs.
The minister described the operation as one of the most sophisticated multi-layered intelligence missions ever carried out, claiming that Iranian operatives had invaded Israel’s most secret nuclear, military, intelligence and science archives. The document also reportedly contains highly detailed data on sensitive dual use facilities.
Khatib further alleged that some files exposed the direct impact of Israeli officials and US senators on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and argued for the transfer of confidential information on Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.
He said coordinates recovered from caches were used to strike several Israeli sites with Iranian missiles during the 12-day conflict in June.
On June 13, Israel launched a blatant, unprovocative act of aggression against Iran, causing a 12-day war that killed at least 1,064 Iranians, including senior military commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians.
The conflict escalated further when the US intervened by bombing three Iranian nuclear facilities. This was accused by Tehran as a serious violation of international law.
Iran responded with force. The force launched a strike over strategic Israeli sites across the occupying territories, targeting Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the largest US military facility in West Asia. By June 24, Iran’s anti-manipulation had succeeded in halting the joint Israeli-American attack.
The Minister emphasized that what has been disclosed so far represents just a small part of Trove. Still, he argued that the release ended Israel’s long-standing “nuclear ambiguity,” revealing its cover-up and the size of its Western supporters.
Khatib added that many individuals in Israel, from nuclear and military agencies to civilians, have been coordinated with Iran’s intelligence agency to acquire and transfer documents. He said their motivations were split into two categories: financial rewards and deep hatred of the administration’s “corrupted criminal” prime ministers have driven them to revenge.
