TEHRAN – Tehran has condemned an illegal and unjust statement issued by Seven (G7) groups in support of a revival of sanctions against Iran.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei said the G7’s support for convening UN Security Council sanctions against Iran would support the group’s support for moves violating international law.
He said a group of seven welcomed the move that three European countries and the United States regained sanctions against Iran by abusering mechanisms originally formulated to resolve differences in the 2015 Iran nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
“The Seven stance group cannot change the illegal and unjust nature of the above movement,” the spokesman pointed out.
The spokesman recalled the Iranian regime’s military attacks in the middle of diplomatic talks in coordination and collaboration with the US, followed by a direct attack on Iran’s nuclear facility in Washington, dismissing “pure lies and lies and distortions of reality.” Achieve a comprehensive and lasting negotiated settlement. ”
“By obstructing the enforcement of the JCPOA due to the continued unrelenting violations of international law regarding Iran due to the 2018 illegal and unilateral withdrawal from the JCPOA, the United States is essentially the root cause and the main perpetrator behind the current situation,” Bakai said.
Furthermore, because they followed the US, failed to fulfill their commitments and supported the US and Israeli regimes in military attacks on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities, the three European countries not only failed to successfully carry out most of their obligations under the JCPOA, but also blatantly malicefully turned them into all of their son’s efforts and exhaled efforts.
Fukaray also touched on Seven’s indifferent group on nuclear weapons of the Genocide Israeli regime, describing the group’s approach to the issue of non-enhancement as hypocritical.
“Because of hypocritical and irresponsible performances on the rule of law, peace and security, these seven countries are morally incompetent to give advice to others,” he said.
In a statement, the seven-person group announced the group that comprises Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, the US and the EU’s head of diplomacy.
The group argued that the move was the result of Iran’s constant failures that could not withstand commitments under the JCPOA.
