Tehran – The 22nd International Police Security and Safety Goods and Equipment (IPAS) Exhibition will kick off on October 13th and run until October 16th.
According to the IRNA, approximately 230 domestic and 21 foreign companies will be participating in the exhibition.
Over 50% of participants are knowledge-based companies, presenting the latest achievements in the areas of safety, security and police equipment in the following areas: computer networks, electrical and electronic hardware, intelligence systems, information and communications technology.

Starting this year, IPAS exhibitions will be held simultaneously in other cities, including Kish.
The important focus of the exhibition will benefit from modern technology and artificial intelligence, particularly in police equipment in the crime detection sector.
In addition to hosting the latest security outcomes, educational workshops and conferences, the exhibition offers an opportunity to develop interactions between police, industry and academia to utilize Indigenous technologies to improve the security of the country.
The idea of holding an IPAS exhibition came into effect in 2001 along with the initiative of the then commander of the law enforcement forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The first edition was held in the same year at police, security and safety equipment at the venue of the IRIB conference centre, with 19 countries participating.
It was then registered on the calendar of the Iranian International Exhibition Company.
