President awards nurses
In November 2024, President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the important role of medical professionals in the country, emphasizing a commitment to equity and support for vulnerable populations.
He made the remarks while speaking at a ceremony celebrating the contributions of nurses.
In his speech, Mr. Pezeshkian emphasized teamwork and collective responsibility and emphasized the importance of taking an informed and scientific approach to national problems.
“We are all one team. Together we can make progress,” he said. The Prime Minister thanked nurses and other health workers for their work and acknowledged their role in improving the welfare of the nation.
The president used the event to articulate his vision for social justice, particularly in the health sector, and pledged government support for those who are often overlooked.
“We are committed to increasing equity in our educational institutions, especially for disadvantaged populations,” Pezeshkian said.
Our duty is to ensure that resources and attention go to those most at risk. He emphasized that poor and underserved people are at higher risk of illness and death. “These people are often invisible and unheard.
They lack resources and education, and it is the responsibility of the government, especially through the Ministry of Health, to prioritize their needs over those with money and influence,” he explained.
Mr. Pezeshkian emphasized that the government’s mission is not only to identify these problems, but also to work diligently towards their solutions. “We are focused on equity and supporting the underprivileged,” he said.
“Within the limits of our resources, we are working collaboratively with the health sector to address the challenges facing these communities.”
Through his speech, President Pezeshkian reaffirmed his commitment to serve the Iranian people and address the country’s pressing issues with a focus on fairness, transparency, and social justice.
