TEHRAN – A funeral was held on Monday to commemorate the lives and sacrifices of Ali Rajni and Mohammad Mokhiseh, senior judges of Iran’s Supreme Court who lost their lives in an armed attack on their Tehran office on Saturday.
The procession started east of the Supreme Court building in central Tehran and headed toward the city of Qom.

At the funeral of the deceased judicial official, a heartfelt message from Seyed Ali Khamenei, leader of the Islamic Revolution, was read out by Head of the Leader’s Office Hojat al-Islam Golpaegani.
In his message, the leader expressed his deep sorrow and condolences to the families of the two martyrs who played an important role in the country’s justice system.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the honorable families of the tragic martyr Ali Rajini and his brave colleague Mohammad Mokhiseh. I wish you patience and strength,” the message said.
“Marty Ragini had been a target of hostile forces before and had suffered the consequences of repeated assassination attempts and sustained severe injuries over the years. His two beloved brothers had also previously served the nation I was martyred.”
“May God have mercy and blessings on these noble martyrs and grant their families patience and resilience in the face of such enormous sacrifices. ‘s dedication and unwavering commitment will never be forgotten,” the leader said.
The Chief Justice said that enemy efforts to sow division and instability in Iran will continue to fail.
During the event, Iranian Attorney General Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei expressed his condolences to the families of the two martyrs and emphasized the importance of their service.
In his speech, Ejei denounced continued efforts by Iran’s enemies to sow division and instability in the country.
He warned against any actions or rhetoric that would favor those seeking to undermine national unity.
“The enemy is relentlessly trying to erode the values that have been the foundation of our revolution, especially among young people.” He also denied claims that the Resistance Front had been defeated, insisting that those loyal to the revolution were more determined than ever to see a true victory.
“Look at the situation of the Zionist regime and its allies in the region. Before the al-Aqsa storm, the Zionists were trying to shed their criminal image and seek normalization with some Arab countries. They are now the most despised group in the world.”Despite 15 months of genocide in Gaza, they failed to achieve their goals,” Ejei added.
The Chief Justice also emphasized the important role of Iran’s intelligence and security forces in safeguarding national security. “While our enemies seek to create insecurity and division, our brave intelligence and security forces are working tirelessly to counter their machinations.
