TEHRAN – Iran has successfully made a promise to strengthen its strategic partnership with Pakistan as the Iranian navy joins the Aman-25 Navy movement that began in Karachi on Friday.
Hosted biennial by Pakistan since 2007, the drill attracts ships, aircraft, special forces and observers from over 60 countries, highlighting the collective push for regional security in the Indian Ocean.
Since its inception, the Aman Series has grown into a naval platform to deal with naval, terrorism and humanitarian crises.
This year’s iteration under the slogan “Together for Peace” includes advanced tactical demonstrations and crisis response simulations.
An Iranian delegation led by Navy Commander Admiral Shalam Irani arrived in Karachi on Saturday.
The visit is believed to demonstrate Tehran’s commitment to strengthening its operational capacity at sea along with Islamabad.
Combat ships from the Iranian fleet joined the training. This will run until February 11th. In his remarks to reporters, Irani emphasized the importance of his close ties with Pakistan.

The Iranian naval chief has also revealed plans to invite Pakistan to Iran-sponsored bilateral training, informing them of a new stage of defence cooperation.
Grand Admiral Irani previously traveled to Pakistan in June 2023.
At the opening ceremony, Admiral Abdul Munib, commander of the Pakistan Fleet, stated that evolving maritime challenges require collective effort and that no country has the strength to tackle these challenges alone. Ta.
Welcoming Iran’s involvement, the Pakistani naval chief repeatedly reiterated Ashraf to Naved Ashraf and reiterated Islamabad’s enthusiasm for expanding naval relations with Tehran.

From 2007 to 2023, Iran took part in Aman’s exercises, primarily as observers, with the events of a high-ranking Iranian delegation.
In addition to taking part in training this year, Iranian delegation was also involved in the dialogue of the first Aman, a forum focusing on maritime cooperation, holding sideline meetings with Pakistani military officials. Masu.
