Tehran – A strict funeral procession was held on Friday for the seriously injured Brigadier General Mostafa Abdollahi (IRGC) Navy Commander Commander Mostafa Abdollahi on Friday, assisting in a fire extinguishing mission at Tehran’s naval facility.
Several firefighters were also injured in the incident that occurred Thursday.
Abdullahhi, whom his son Morteza martes while fighting Dash terrorists overseas, was praised by high-ranking officials.
IRGC Commander Major Hossein Salami praised Abdulhahi’s legacy and emphasized his unwavering commitment to the defense of Islamic values.
“Mostafa Abdulhahi, the father of this brave warrior of Islam, the honorable martialist, Morteza Abdulhahi, is a testament to his unwavering faith in his duty to extinguish fires at the naval base,” he wrote in a statement.
Salami expressed sadness dol to Abdullahhi’s family, comrades, and the IRGC as a whole, highlighting the growing spiritual significance of the timing of his sacrifice during Ramadan.
He stated that such sacrifice clearly influenced the defenders of the Islamic Revolution, and repeated the hope that Abdullahhi’s soul would join the souls of his son and the martyrs of Kalbala.
In another compliment, Iranian parliament president Mohammad Bagh Galibah highlighted both Abdulhai’s double legacy as commander during the Iran-Iraq war and his devoted father who raised his “right son” due to Islamic causes.
Galibav described him as not only a symbol of sacrifice, but also a model of devotion, and he prayed for God’s comfort and reward to his grieving family.
