Tehran – An international conference for historical monuments and sites with topics of historical monuments and resilience to crisis will be held at Mohagar Aldebili University on April 20, Director of Cultural Heritage Aldabil said.
Alireza Dabbagh Abdollahi added a special lecture on the risks from flood and water flow to historical monuments on the Mogan Plain, the need for practical and preventative management of the Cultural Heritage sector in relation to the protection of immobilized historical monuments in times of crisis, and the special lecture on the impact of natural obstacles given by Ardabil Jame.
He stated that April 18 is an international day for historic buildings and sites, with special lectures at this conference, Rouhollah Mohammadi, head of Archaeology and Registration Department, Ardivil State, Behrouz Afkhami, a member of the undergraduate department of Mohaghegh Ardebili University, and Mehdi Heydarivads of Mehdi Heydarivand (who will offer specialized lectures at this conference.
Known for its natural and historic attractions, including Messinshall Suspension Bridge, Sabaran Mountain, Alberz Ski Resort and the famous mineral springs of Surane, Aldaville is a major destination for both national and international tourists.
In recent years, Ardivil has become a well-known tourist destination, particularly after being appointed as the Tourism Bureau of ECO (Eco-operational Organization) member states in 2023.
