Tehran – Yemen has announced the implementation of two military operations targeting Israeli sites, including Ben Gurion Airport.
According to Brigadier General Yahya Saree, a spokesman for the Yemeni Army, the first operation targeted Israeli Sordet Mikah base east of Ashdod with a polar-sound Palestinian 2 missile.
Additionally, Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport was attacked by a Zulfical missile. Israeli media reported that air traffic was destroyed and takeoffs and landings were stopped for at least an hour.
Another operation hit a key Israeli target in Ashkelon city with a drone.
Sirens were revitalized in several regions, and many settlers sought shelter after the launch of missiles from Yemen.
Shortly after these attacks, Yemeni troops announced they had fired down a US-made MQ-9 drone in Hajah City.
The drones were defeated by surface-to-air missiles made in the country.
Sally confirmed that this was the 19th drone to be fallen by Yemen’s air defense as part of an ongoing operation, “The Victory of Promises and the Sacred War.” Yemen says it supports the Palestinians of Gaza.
Also, the fourth drone marked a shooting down in just two weeks.
He said the latest measures have directly responded to the continued US airstrikes on Yemen, causing casualties and damage to private property recently.
The military reaffirmed that military capabilities remained intact and that ongoing US invasions would lead to more failures.
Surry emphasized that operations will continue until the Gaza attacks are stopped and the siege is lifted.
US Warplanes launched three airstrikes south of Yemen’s capital Sanaa on Monday, bombing a ceramic factory in the Banimatal area.
The Yemeni Ministry of Health reports that at least six people have been killed and 20 others have been injured from aggression.
Yemen has repeatedly declared its intention to continue missile strikes on targets in the Red Sea and Israel as part of its efforts to support the people of Gaza and to end the lockdown and US-backed war of genocide.
