TEHRAN – Hezbollah launches attacks on Israeli settlements, targeting military infrastructure and assembly areas for regime forces.
To repel attempts by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) to advance into Lebanese territory, Hezbollah has revealed that it targeted IOF forces massed at the Shamma building on the Lebanese border with precision-guided drone strikes, confirming direct hits and casualties.
Hezbollah said its fighters successfully targeted an IOF Merkava tank in the city of Bint Jubail using loitering gliders. One of the attacks occurred near Al-Ishraq School, where a tank was hit and a direct attack was confirmed. In another operation, Hezbollah fighters again targeted another Merkava tank in the Saf Al-Hawa district of Bint Jubail with a loitering glider, achieving a positive hit.
In a series of statements, the Resistance also reported that it had used a swarm of precision-guided drones to target Israeli occupation forces’ military infrastructure in the Adamit settlement.
Additionally, other parts of the occupation regime’s military infrastructure were attacked with multiple rockets in the settlements of Sha’ar Yasuv, Hagoshrim, Neot Mordechai, and the city of Safed.
In addition, rockets were fired at the villages of Dafna, Kiryat Shmona, Metula and Misgab Am.
An IOF military spokesperson said a reservist noncommissioned officer was seriously injured and another soldier was injured by debris from an explosive drone that fell near IOF in southern Lebanon.
Under strict IOF censorship, Hebrew media reported that Hezbollah drones targeted a Hummer vehicle, injuring two people.
IOF said dozens of rocket attacks were launched from Lebanon against settlements in the north in the past 24 hours.
Hebrew-language media also reported news of a drone explosion in Nahariya, and the regime’s Channel 14 reported a rocket crash in the Safed area.
He also said that fire teams were working to extinguish a fire that broke out in Kiryat Shmona following reports of a rocket falling without warning and trapping settlers.
Hezbollah announced Friday that it had targeted all of these locations.
The Lebanese resistance has released footage of an operation targeting the IOF Stella Maris base in Haifa.
The footage showed one of the jets delivering a message to Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qasem, and the jets preparing to head to the launch site before launching their missiles.
Stella Maris Base is an IOF naval military base located on Mount Carmel near Haifa and serves as an important headquarters for naval operations and surveillance along the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea.
Hezbollah’s military media also released footage showing fighter jets targeting the Grillot base of the regime’s Military Intelligence Unit 8200 north of Tel Aviv with special missiles. The facility specializes in electronic surveillance and cyber intelligence gathering within the regime’s military.
These operations are being carried out in response to violations of ceasefire agreements in the region by the Zionist regime. The resistance initially adhered to the ceasefire, but stressed that retaliatory actions would continue until the Israeli regime and the United States ceased their aggression against Lebanon and its people.
Lebanese lawmaker Hassan Fadlallah, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance coalition, said the government’s decision to negotiate directly with the Israeli regime was a “clear violation of the constitution” and warned of the implications for internal stability in Lebanon.
Fadlallah added that this approach will further deepen divisions within the country at a time when Lebanon is in urgent need of unity and solidarity. He stressed that what the enemy could not achieve on the battlefield could not be achieved through direct negotiations because of the resilience of resistance fighters.
He also claimed that the current government is “not in control of its own decisions.”
He further stressed that the current leadership cannot be trusted to protect national sovereignty and that its decisions lack constitutional legitimacy, especially when they violate the principle of coexistence.
Meanwhile, MP Ihab Hamadeh, also from the Loyal Resistance Bloc, said the Zionist regime was carrying out genocide to compensate for battlefield losses.
“The Lebanese authorities are handing us over to the Zionist regime,” Hamadeh said, adding: “Whoever sits on the side of the regime is aligned with the Zionist regime.”
He pointed out that the current stage was different due to what he described as a “new world order” and criticized the Lebanese government for misreading the situation.
A senior Lebanese official told Reuters on Friday that Lebanon will take part in a meeting in Washington next week attended by representatives of the United States and the occupation regime to discuss declaring a ceasefire.
In recent days, protests have been held in front of the government’s headquarters in Beirut, rejecting the government’s approach to disarm Hezbollah amid continued attacks by Israel.
These attacks continue despite a ceasefire agreement reached at the end of 2024 while the Zionist regime still occupies Lebanese territory.
Meanwhile, IOF continues to carry out attacks against civilians across Lebanon, resulting in hundreds of casualties. These acts are full-fledged war crimes and clear violations of international law.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the death toll from the Israeli regime’s indiscriminate airstrikes across Lebanon on Wednesday rose to 357 from 303 previously, with another 1,223 injured.
“The death toll remains provisional as debris removal continues and there are a large number of bodies that require DNA testing,” the ministry said.
The ministry also updated the total number of deaths since the start of the Zionist regime’s escalation in Lebanon on March 2, announcing that the death toll now stands at 1,953 and 6,303 injured.
On Friday, Hezbollah Emir Sheikh Naim Qassem addressed the Lebanese people, praising their steadfastness and sacrifice. He asserted that the Zionist regime cannot succeed on the battlefield against Hezbollah fighters.
He said the occupation regime had failed to carry out its repeatedly announced ground invasion, with soldiers and officers falling into ambushes and vehicles destroyed on the outskirts of towns and villages.
