According to a report by Al Masila TV, Saudi forces launched missile and artillery attacks in Yemen’s Governor Sada’s border area on April 16.
No civilian casualties have been reported following the Saudi Arabia attack on the historic Ansarrah base. The attack comes hours after US war planes launched multiple airstrikes in the Majitz and Mefaanas districts of Sadah in Damar Province.
On Tuesday, US Warplane launched more than 25 airstrikes with governors of Albaida, Hodeida, Amran and Sada.
Washington attempted to stop the Yemeni army (YAF) operations against the Israeli massacre of Palestinians in Gaza, expanding illegal wars with Yemen on March 16, killing dozens of civilians across the country and destroying important civil infrastructure.
On Tuesday, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that Yemeni UAE proxy militias are planning a ground attack to take Hodeida port city from the YAF with support from Washington.
“Private American security contractors have advised Yemeni factions about potential ground operations, people involved in the plan said. The United Arab Emirates, which support these factions, have raised plans with American officials in recent weeks,” the report said.
US officials speaking to the newspaper said Washington has launched more than 350 strikes during its current campaign against Yemen. Nevertheless, the fierce war failed to block the operation of Sanaa’s pro-Palestinians.
Saudi officials have personally said they would not take part in attacks in Yemen or support ground attacks.
In 2018, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia launched three operations against Ansarrah, attempting to capture Hodeidah, but failed.
The Ansarrah forces retaliated by launching ballistic missiles and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia, including attacking the Saudi Arabic oil storage facility in Jeddah, which threatened to destroy the Kingdom’s oil production and exports.
