Thousands gathered at Israeli demonstrations on Saturday night to protest Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, returning the remaining 59 hostages and calling for a deal to end the war in the Gaza Strip, Israel reported.
The main assembly against the government took place at Habima Square in Tel Aviv. There, protesters gathered after hearing from many senior officials, including the former Chimbett leader and Israeli occupation forces, but protesters gathered in a nearby hostage square, demanding a hostage trade. The meetings merged on the starting road, as they do every week.
Speaking at a press conference before an evening event, Einav Zangauker, whose son Mathan is being taken prisoner in Gaza, accused Israel of having signed a contract and that “tomorrow morning” could be brought into the house “tomorrow morning” if they wished.
“Soldiers are sent to war without end, without purpose, and without interest the next day,” she said, standing with a group of prisoner-parents. “It’s possible to sign a deal tomorrow morning. The whole country is being fooled. It’s said that military pressure will return the trick. It’s just killing them.”
The “national nation” wanted the end of the war and the return of all hostages, and Zangerkar accused Netanyahu of “probably giving himself a favor by agreeing to another ‘choose’ deal,” comparing Netanyahu’s gradual hostage release deal that Netanyahu liked to the practice of sending sick Jews into slave labor and sending healthy Jews to sick Jews.
