Globalization.”
Meanwhile, the Kremlin said XI will hold bilateral talks with Russian counterparts on “developing partnerships and strategic ties” and “issues on international and regional agendas.”
“The government and the minister … are expected to sign a series of bilateral documents,” he added.
In February, President XI welcomed China-Russia relations when he called from Putin.
“In both history and reality, we teach that China and Russia are destined to be good neighbors. Both of our countries share misery with Weal, support each other, and are genuine friends who pursue common development,” Xi said in a phone conversation on February 24th.
A week later, President Xi Jinbu told Sergei Shog, secretary of the Russian Federation Security Council in Beijing that China and Russia are friendly neighbors and true friends.
President XI’s visit to Russia coincides with rising tensions between China and the United States.
President Donald Trump has imposed tariffs of up to 145% on many US imports from China. China is 125% mandatory for US products.
The visit comes amidst allegations of China’s military support for Russia’s Ukrainian War.
In April, President Volodymyr Zelensky accused China of supplying arms to Russia. China calls allegations of involvement in the conflict “irresponsible remarks.”
China emphasizes the importance of political dialogue to address the Ukrainian conflict and the ongoing trade war with the United States. Moreover, it was a strong supporter of multilateralism in international relations. However, the one-sided approach taken by the US is recognized as an important barrier to solving these pressing problems.
