Tehran – Hamas’ armed wings cause great losses to two independent units of Israeli occupation forces.
The Al-Qassam Brigade has announced that it has targeted the Israeli occupation (IOF) east of Rafa in the Gaza Strip, resulting in multiple deaths and injuries.
In an official statement, the resistance said the fighter had attacked an Israeli engineering unit consisting of 12 soldiers preparing to destroy the home.
According to the brigade, their fighters launched two anti-personnel shells and an anti-armor shell in their units, causing a home explosion and casualties among the soldiers.
After the attack, they observed an Israeli helicopter arrived at the scene to evacuate the dead and injured them.
The Al-Kassam Brigade also reported that their fighters were engaged in close conflicts between enemy forces and military vehicles.
In another operation under the “Gates of Hell” campaign, Al-Kasam’s fighters used high-explosive devices to target a seven-man Israeli infantry unit near the Omar bin Abdulaziz Mosque east of Rafa.
They reported seeing “scattered body parts” of several occupyers after the explosion.
According to an IOF spokesman, two soldiers were killed and six were injured during a battle in the southern Gaza Strip. Four injured people are in danger.
Israeli Occupation Army Radio reported in the first attack that gunmen fired rocket propulsion allowance (RPG) at a building where Israeli soldiers were searching for tunnel openings. The explosion caused the structure to collapse.
As a result, one soldier was killed and two people in the 605 engineering battalion were injured.
In the second incident, the Resistance Fighters fired anti-armor missiles with Golani Reconnaissance Force and joint forces from the 605th Battalion. Soldiers who left Namar’s armored craftsman careers to raid the building were attacked nearby.
Preliminary reports show that one soldier has been killed, four others injured, three critically and the other moderately injured. Among the wounded are two officers from the Golani Force and the 605th Battalion.
Both attacks took place in three hours in the Jenina district of Rafa, where the Golani Brigade is currently operating, Army Radio added.
The Israeli military then imposed a media blackout on reporting the victims of the IOF.
Previously, Israeli media reported serious security incidents in Rafa. There, the collapse of the building was severely injured among Israeli forces, and in some serious condition. The injured were taken to Barthrai Hospital in Ashkelon.
The Israeli platform noted that the Army faced the key challenge of evacuating victims due to the ongoing fierce combat. The helicopter provided suppression fires to promote evacuation.
Hebrew website Hadashot Bazman has released footage of injured soldiers who have arrived at the hospital, but also noted that details remain under censorship. “Hamas cameras and explosive devices are waiting for the Gaza Army,” he warned.
Israeli media explained that Rafa’s incident was particularly difficult for the IOF in Gaza as it coincided with another conflict in Gaza city’s Shujaiya district.
Reports from Shujaiya suggested attempts to acquiring injured Israeli soldiers through a tunnel beneath the collapsed building.
As a result, the Israeli army reportedly activated the Hannibal Directive with both Shujaiya and Rafa, a protocol aimed at preventing the capture of soldiers, even if it targets its own army.
A reporter on the ground said the IOF began firing in his own position amid fears that a capture operation was underway against the forces that had ambushed the east of Rafa.
