Tehran – Why Palestinian resilience prevents another Nakba amid unprecedented war crimes in Gaza.
Despite enduring the brutal Israeli genocide, Palestinians refuse to rewrite history. They do not allow nakba to be erased from memory or repeated without resistance.
The fascist government in Tel Aviv has clinged to the belief that Palestinian territory can be reduced to tile rubs, launching relentless attacks throughout the Gaza Strip without the civilian life being driven out of the Indigenous people.
Since October 2023, more than two million Palestinians have been forced to evacuate, many have been uprooted dozens of times and fled to another location from where they are already inside the enclaves.
This forced displacement reflects the 1948 terror of Nakba. This led to the ethnic cleansing campaigns that drove hundreds of thousands of Palestinians out of their homes.
Today, the campaign continues under the guise of artificial hunger and complete lockdown, and the Israeli occupation system has systematically banned the provision of humanitarian assistance to Gaza.
Some Western commentators argue that if the Israeli occupation regime was really intended to be genocide, it would have already done so. Such a statement reveals the deep ignorance of both historical genocide, which gradually unfolds over time.
Ethnic cleansing is not sudden. This is a long-term calculation process. Today, in the age of social media, the process is horrifyingly visible in real time.
The Zionist Israeli regime did not start by bombing tents outside the hospital or burning people living with IV drops. Initially, tens of thousands of men and boys did not separate women and children from northern Gaza.
These atrocities unfolded and normalized over weeks and months, waning global media attention. This is the government of Tel Aviv with absolute immunity.
The systematic refusal of medical assistance dramatically reduced life expectancy in Gaza.
Hundreds of thousands of people are dying of starvation, malnutrition and untreated illnesses, which could never be recorded by the overwhelming Gaza Health Ministry. Daily massacres are merely a number of media coverage, stripping them of their human casualties.
Palestinians are flocked from one place to another in the devastated land trapped in.
President Donald Trump’s idea of turning Gaza into real estate property encouraged me. This included mass divisions from Palestinian homes, the occupying regimes strengthened war crimes and forced the Gazas to leave their homes.
This form of collective punishment is part of a broader purpose. It’s about playing the second Nakba. As with the expansion of ongoing illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank, the goals remain the same. It is to ethnically cleanse the Palestinian people.
However, in the face of these fears, the Palestinians refuse to surrender. Despite being treated savagely by the occupying forces that took them all to kill them all, their will to resist remains unbroken.
