According to the Director of Tourism in Giran, Tehran-Firzuk Geological Heritage has recently been listed on Iran’s natural heritage list.
Vari Jahani told Habanu online that the geological heritage of Fillzuk in the Siakal region of Gilan province has been officially registered after legal proceedings.
He added that the registration was made under Article 2, Article 2, Note 2 of the Act on the Establishment of Cultural Heritage and Tourism Institutions, approved in January 2003, and under the enforcement regulations approved in August 2005.
He said the precious monument was located at the height of Rabari village in Deiraman district and was registered at 1372 on March 9, 2025. From now on, he will be under the supervision and support of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage.
He emphasized that under the available laws, any interference or action that leads to the destruction or change of the originality of this work is prohibited.
Jahani recalled that the registration is an important step in line with maintaining the country’s natural heritage and protecting the geological values of various regions of Iran.
