Beirut – Analysts are examining the extent to which Lebanon will be affected by its US-led Israeli attack on Iran, particularly its involvement in the Hezbollah battle and its possible outcome.
President Joseph Orn, who held a meeting at Berkeda Palace on Saturday to review developments and issues related to air traffic through Beirut International Airport, said “not only targeted the Islamic Republic, but also aimed at all international efforts to maintain stability in the Middle East and its neighbors and avoid escalation.”
Congressional Speaker Nabi Beli also asserted, “Israel invasion targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran is a serious violation of international law, the sovereignty of an independent state, and regional stability. It is an act that can be condemned by all standards.”
“This entity represents a cross-border threat to an independent nation and international security and stability,” Beli emphasized.
On his part, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam denounced the aggression, believing that “the serious violations of international law and Iran’s sovereignty and its impacts threaten the stability of the entire region, and even global peace.”
Regarding the impact of the war, Salam highlighted the need to take all necessary measures to maintain stability, including Defence Minister Michel Menassa, Home Minister Ahmad Hajar, Foreign Minister Yousef Raj, Minister of Public Works Phase Rasamni and Commander of the Army Rodolfe Haikal.
Several measures have been taken in light of reports available to security services to maintain the country’s stability and ensure the safety of civil aviation and air traffic.
In Lebanon’s policy announcement, Hezbollah has yet to disclose its intention to support Iran. It condemned the aggression and declared, “We will stand up to this dangerous attack, in Iran’s Islamic Republic, its leadership and its people.”
Hezbollah asserted that what happened was “a dangerous escalation of all rules of the Zionist administration rebelling under full coverage and sponsorship of America.”
Sources revealed that communication took place between Hezbollah and the Lebanese Army Command in this regard without clarifying whether resistance took a critical stance.
Beirut is preparing to receive next week the ambassador to President Donald Trump, President Donald Trump, US ambassador to Ankara’s US ambassador, Demoy.
A US State Department spokesman said it is expected that the barracks will arrive in Lebanon on the 18th of this month.
It has not yet been confirmed whether the visit will lead to the appointment of Barrack as Lebanon’s US envoy, but as Morgan Ortagus’ successor, Israeli invasion of Iran has heightened fear that the Trump administration may escalate pressure on Lebanon. Otherwise, the war with Lebanon would resume.
This, coupled with the threat of ending UNIFIL’s mission and forcing Beirut to negotiate directly with the occupant without a mediator, could lead to forced normalisation of relations with colonial groups.
Meanwhile, rain fell in Jaffa (Tel Aviv), where Iranian missiles were occupied, humiliating Washington and other rog haughty powers, causing the south, Bekaa and southern suburbs of Beirut to be celebrated with joy and glory.
Thousands of settlers were terrified and ran to shelters, but the honorable people loyal to the resistance, especially the families of martyrs, rushed to the rooftops and balconies to see the explosions of Tel Aviv and Haifa.
A cry of glory preceded the prayer, and tears of prayer were washed away, especially among the visitors of the Spirit US General of the Spirit US General of the Chief Hezbollah.
