Tehran – Al Jazeera analysts say it’s the Israeli regime, not Iran, that has a secret nuclear weapons program.
“The only secret nuclear weapon power in the Middle East is Israel, not Iran, and has refused to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and has never permitted non-protection measures at the facility,” wrote Belen Fernandez.
The text in the analysis entitled “By bombing Iran, the United States continues to make the world safe for war” is:
It appears that on Saturday, US President Donald Trump was pushing for a “diplomatic resolution” on Iran’s nuclear issue.
Now, Trump’s “very successful attack” was that the US joined Israel’s illegal attacks on Iran, attacking three Iranian nuclear sites early on Sunday (Middle Eastern Period).
As CNN dramatically put it, “The midsummer night in June 2025 was memorable at the moment the Middle East changed forever. When the fear of nuclear annihilation was lifted from Israel, Iranian power was castrated and America’s surge occurred.”
Of course, the “fear of nuclear annihilation” has nothing to do with Israel’s current strike against Iran. Iran is faithfully portrayed in US media as targeting military and nuclear facilities, but has massacred hundreds of civilians. The victims include 23-year-old poet Pania Abbasi, who was killed along with her family while sleeping in an apartment in Tehran.
As is clear to those not in business who have not defended Israel’s looting, the attack on Iran is simply a war of convenience for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has killed all sorts of birds with one stone in a campaign against Iran’s nuclear facilities.
In addition to diverting the world from Israel’s ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, as starving Palestinians continue to be slaughtered every day as they seek food and other aid, Netanyahu has been able to distract himself from his involvement with numerous corruption charges at his home.
Trump’s initial claims about diplomacy with Iran naturally made Netanyahu’s panties into a huge bundle, but now the situation has been fixed by a midsummer night bombing that claims Trump has “eliminated” Iran’s nuclear site.
Certainly, Iran has long occupied our crosshairs, but the figures from many facilities spit in the prospect of bombing the country into blacksmiths. Some people have salivated more openly than others, like in the case of John Bolton, a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations and the first Trump administration national security adviser to challenge the New York Times’ views in 2015 with the following advice.
The failure of the editors of the US record paper to issue such a blatant call for violations of international law shows the extent to which Iran has been thoroughly demonized in American society and in the media. Remember, in 2002, then-US President George W. Bush appointed the nation to the infamous “axis of evil” along with Iraq and North Korea.
Contrary to the US, Iran is not currently funding genocide straight to tens of millions of dollars.
Iran is also not a man who has bombed people in every corner of the world over the past decades, or otherwise hostile to people, from terrorism by the Latin American right-wing state to mass massacres in Vietnam.
Moreover, the only secret nuclear weapon power in the Middle East is Israel, not Iran, and has refused to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and has never permitted non-protection measures at its facilities.
In 1953, the CIA organized a coup against Mohammad Mosadegu, the democratically elected leader of Iran.
Historian Urbando Abrahan states in his book The History of A Modern Iran: Indeed, Shah’s obsession with American arms did a lot to allow him to control the terrorist attacks that ended with the Iranian revolution in 1979.
At present, weapons dealers are probably not so upset by the events of midsummer nights and the general escalation of the Middle East crisis. Netanyahu went out of his way to thank him for his “bold decision” to chase Iran “with the power of America’s wonderful and justice.”
In Netanyahu’s words, Trump’s actions would “change history.” And the ominous hypocrisy of two heavily nuclear armed nations police nuclear “threats” cannot be overstated as the US media is rushing to justify illegal attacks on sovereign states.
Everyone is guessing what Trump will do next, spontaneous and proud of man’s actions. But don’t worry, no matter what happens, the arms industry won’t be hungry anytime soon.
