Tehran – Mazandaran Governor Mehdi Younesi-Rostami has announced that the Tourism and Hospitality Centres in the Northern Province are offering special discounts of 10-50% to citizens affected by the recent 12-day wars of Iran and Israel.
The Governor said accommodation, services and logistics facilities are well prepared to host war-affected compatriots and visitors to reduce fees at many tourist facilities.
“The state’s travel services headquarters are completely vigilant and all tourist facilities operate under strict health, safety and service standards monitored by the Board of Supervisors,” he said. “In addition to the wide range of discounts, some centres offer free services to affected people.”
He also pointed to coordinated efforts to ensure important goods, fuel and daily necessities for guests and residents. If official accommodations reach full capacity, alternative arrangements such as mosques, religious shrines, schools, sports halls and more are used for emergency accommodation.
Mazandaran, a major tourist hub on the southern coast of the Caspian Sea, is known for its natural beauty and hospitality infrastructure.
