Tehran – Accepting UNESCO-listed Susa in southwestern Iran, Shush is considered one of the hearts of history and one of the oldest human settlements not only for the people of Quezestan but also for all Iranians.
Mohammad Kab Amir also said it was a dynamic identity of originality and civilization, Ilib wrote.
He added that in today’s world it is not merely a scope of economic scale and geographical boundaries that establish and maintain national capabilities. Rather, it is the depth of civilization, historical values and narrative that a nation can present itself on a global level.
In this respect, the registration of Susa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a cultural achievement and an opportunity to redefine Iran’s status in the cultural equations and relationships of the new century.
Susa, which served as the capital of the Eramie, Achemenid and Sassanid, can play a fundamental role in a line of balanced development, cultural diplomacy and soft power production.
Tochoga Zanbil, along with Susa, is Iran’s first monument, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, has complex engineering structures and deep religious roots. This is evidence of the historical continuity of Iran’s rationality, spirituality and creativity over the past few millennia.
“We are proud to have two unique global monuments located in the region,” MP said.
At the same time, we must acknowledge that there is a meaningful gap between global capabilities and the current state of the scrunchie infrastructure, Ka’b-Amir added.
“The accommodation infrastructure, transportation systems, the dissemination of tourism information, tour guide training, cultural events calendars, and systematic participation of people to use their capabilities is still far from the ideal point.”
“If we want the scrush to change from merely an ancient name to a dynamic state of civilization in Iranian geography, we should put this global treasure into the economic, social and cultural biome of our local people.”
“I proudly declare that there is a full preparation for multilateral cooperation, focusing on the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts in the unified management, wise exploitation and the future-oriented preservation of the site of Shushuzanville.
“This preparation includes supporting infrastructure projects, attracting national and international investment, promoting World Heritage Sites, launching specialized museums, promoting cultural events with the participation of non-governmental organizations, compiling a comprehensive programme for training and employment.”
“Today, we should move towards global streaming. If we know the scrunchie correctly, the world knows us through the scrunchie.”
The scrunchie overlaps with the ancient city of Susa, currently a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located between the Rivers of Calfe and Dez in southwestern Iran, Susa was once one of the most important and attractive cities in the ancient world. Living for thousands of years, Susa accepts several layers of urban settlements from the late 5th century BC to the 13th century AD.
