Tehran – Hamas responded to the ceasefire proposal in a “positive” way that reflected the unified stance of all Gaza resistance.
The Palestinian resistance has revealed that the response to the framework proposal for the ceasefire in Gaza was prepared with a national consensus and a constructive approach.
The response followed extensive consultations with Gaza-based Palestinian facts, which supported resistance and ended the war of genocide in the besieged enclave.
In a statement, Hamas’s Office of National Relations revealed that the movement had extensive discussions with Palestinian resistance and its political leadership leaders.
These talks focus on coordinating responses to framework papers that outline steps to end genocide and implement ceasefires.
The statement said the consultations were serious and well coordinated, leading to a unified national stance in favour of Palestinian resistance.
After completing these discussions, Hamas submitted a response to the mediator.
Hamas confirmed that all Palestinian factions welcomed a unified response. It described this process as part of a responsible national effort aimed at protecting the interests of the Palestinians and presenting a united front to halt the US-backed war of massacre in Gaza.
In the related developments, officials of the Israeli occupation regime told the Hebrew media that the mandate would travel to Doha, Qatar to confirm the deal.
Previously, Hamas announced the “positive” conclusions of internal consultations and expressed its readiness to commence immediate consultations on how the framework is implemented. The Resistance Group reportedly requested several amendments to its proposal, including a revival of the UN aid mechanism.
Reports say the ceasefire will last for 60 days, including a halt of combat between Palestinian resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces (IOF), a surge in aid to blocked enclaves, and a prisoner exchange without ceremonies or celebrations.
Reports cited official sources say that if negotiations on a permanent ceasefire arrangement are not completed within the 60-day period, a temporary ceasefire could be extended.
The occupation system is reportedly providing full information on Palestinian prisoners arrested since October 7, 2023.
Following the unilateral withdrawal of the regime from the final ceasefire agreement in March, Palestinian resistance forces have used guerrilla tactics to kill dozens of IOF soldiers and suffered more injuries.
Nearly daily footage has been published by Palestinian Resistance Fighters targeting IOF gatherings and vehicles, including tanks blown up in sophisticated operations and ambush.
The rising death toll among the IOF forces is putting pressure on the occupying government. On Sunday, administration media announced another “serious security incident” in Gaza and released reports of several IOF casualties with tank missiles.
The daily massacre of hungry Palestinian civilians, mostly women and children, have infuriated the international community.
