TEHRAN – More than 300 Tehran residents whose homes were destroyed during the Israeli-imposed aviation war are temporarily housed at the capital’s Lare Hotel, the hotel manager announced on Sunday.
Mohammad-Mehdi Qanbari told the IRNA that following the necessary coordination with the respected bodies, these Tehranian citizens have been offering 150 hotels for 10 days.
He said they were given breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perhaps these people have been staying at the hotel for several months, he added.
He explained that Tehran city staff worked with people affected by the war to renovate their homes.
Government spokesman Fateme Mohajelani gave news of damages to 3,500 housing units in a report on the 12-day war. She explained that the damage includes minor damage, such as destroying glasses and major damage to destroy the damaged home.
Tehran city has 350 damaged homes, and Laleh Hotel and other guesthouses have been assigned to protect people in cooperation with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage.
The war began on June 13th, when Israel launched an unprovoked attack that targeted Iranian civilian nuclear sites and assassinated senior military and scientists. Tehran responded within hours with a barrage of missile and drone attacks and launched a true promise III retaliation campaign.
