Tehran – Iran’s Automobile Museum, also known as the Iranian Historical Automobile Museum, will be holding its first workshop on professional car details and preservation from August 24th.
The workshop, organized by the museum’s College of Classic Car Restoration, will focus on details, a specialized cleaning method that is important for maintaining both regular and historic vehicles. The training emphasizes careful storage of the original parts and the prevention of corrosion in classic cars.
According to the Public Relations Bureau of Defeine Museum Group, the workshop will be conducted under the supervision of the International Museum Council and the Iranian Automobile Museum.
“The program is intended to promote appropriate standards of care to ensure that historic vehicles are reliable.”
In early May, the country’s first specialized university dedicated to the restoration of classic cars was launched at the Automobile Museum, which belongs to the Daffin Museum Group and operates under the Mostaza Fan Foundation.
The prestigious museum is dedicated to preserving and presenting the country’s rich automotive heritage. There is a collection of rare vintage cars that highlight the evolution of cars across Iran and around the world. It also serves as an education center for car enthusiasts and professionals, offering workshops and programs focused on classic car repair and maintenance.
