Tunisian President Cais Sayed introduced Massad Boulos, the top African advisor to US President Donald Trump, to the image of a child hungry for the Gaza Strip.
An official video of the conference at the Presidential Palace in Carthage showed that the Tunisian president told Boulos, “It’s time for all of humanity to wake up and end these crimes against the Palestinians.”
“I think you know these images well,” Sayed saw him tell the envoy, showing pictures of what he described as “crying children, eating sand in occupied Palestine.”
“In the 21st century, he eats sand because he found nothing else. There is sand in his hand, another sand dies, and he takes a final breath from hunger.”
Said gave Blos several more images, saying that the Palestinians in Gaza were exposed to crimes against humanity.
“That’s absolutely unacceptable,” Said heard Boulos stands quietly and sometimes nods. “It’s a crime against all humanity.”
