“War Crimes” was what Hamas called Israel’s plan to take control of Gaza city.
Hamas said that Israel’s use of the term “control” in place of “profession” is “an attempt to avoid legal liability for the consequences of a brutal crime against civilians.”
It also accused Israel of not caring about the fate of prisoners held in Gaza.
Netanyahu’s plan explains the sudden withdrawal from Israel’s final negotiations, Hamas added that the two parties were on the verge of reaching a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange agreement.
“We repeat that during our communications between Egyptians and Qatari mediators, the movement provided all the flexibility and positivity needed to ensure the success of our ceasefire efforts.”
