Tehran – The Gaza Strip is captured not only for the flames of war, but also for deepening hunger. UN experts argue that this is not a coincidence, but a deliberate strategy.
Gaza’s Ministry of Health reported 10 additional deaths from hunger and malnutrition in the last 24 hours, including the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of starvation-related deaths to 313.
Government media offices for the besieged territory accused Israelis of committing “systemic hunger crimes against the population of the Gaza Strip,” saying star has intensified as occupation regimes continue to be restricted on food and aid delivery.
On August 22, the integrated food security stage classification (IPC), an authority on the global food crisis, officially declared hunger in and around Gaza city.
Authorities now warn that the catastrophe will spread to Deial Bhara in central Gaza and Khan Yunis south, and that life-threatening conditions put the entire Strip population of 2.4 million.
This declaration comes from growing evidence of the Israeli occupation’s use of starvation as a weapon of war.
Data collected between July 1st and August 15th reveals that three important hunger thresholds have been compromised. Extreme food deprivation, acute malnutrition, and hunger-related deaths.
Since March, Gaza has endured for three consecutive months without food or medicine delivery. The Israeli regime has banned them from entering despite thousands of trucks belonging to the World Health Organization (WHO) being prepared for the border.
The crisis of US-backed orchestral hunger is not hidden. Thousands try to access aid every day, but in many cases there is a personal risk. The United Nations said “We recorded at least 1,760 Palestinians being killed while seeking assistance from May 27 to August 13,” with at least 7,200 people injured.
The chaotic crowd, including women and children, has surged due to food under fire fire fires fired by Israeli occupation forces and food under tank shells, making it a daily occurrence.
A UN spokesperson has repeatedly challenged the story of the Israeli regime, claiming that they have not fired fire on hungry civilians, and that most injuries came from gunshots.
UN agencies, including FAO, WFP, UNICEF and WHO, are unanimous. Gaza’s hunger is a disaster that is focused on preventable humans.
Secretary-General Antonio Guterres calls it an “artificial disaster” and a “human failure.” He emphasizes that Tel Aviv has the right to occupation under international law, and therefore it has an obligation to ensure that civilians have access to food and medical care. The occupation regime repeatedly rejected the UN warning.
Tom Fletcher, the United Nations emergency relief coordinator, reiterated that the aid truck was stuck in front of hungry people. “It’s hunger that has been openly promoted by some Israeli leaders as a weapon of war,” he said.
There are increasing numbers of serious charges. Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, Doctors without Borders, and other NGOs have accused Israel of using hunger as a weapon of war.
Greenpeace demands that this “intentional star” be put to an end soon. The IBA Human Rights Institute has condemned it as an inhumane law of war, a serious violation of international law.
Meanwhile, Palestinians continue to die of hunger, illness and despair. While the so-called aid distribution points become a scene of the occupying forces’ shooting practice, mothers are wandering through scraps of food, with more children dying.
