Tehran – Visiting museums, heritage and historic sites under the Ministry of Cultural Heritage is free for families with three or more children and one pregnant woman, the Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage said.
According to Iruna, Ali Darabi pointed out alongside her visits to all museums, heritage, cultural and historic sites, under the aid of cultural heritage, tourism and handcraft, in line with the implementation of policies to support families that began after August 25, 2025, and in line with the implementation of cultural heritage, tourism and handcraft to be free for the home.
He said the notice said eligible families could benefit from this possibility without a time limit. He added that it would also need to provide the necessary facilities for the museum and cultural and historical complex managers, including special routes, simple scheduling and promotion of services for extended families and pregnant women.
Emphasizing that the measure is part of the province’s cultural and social responsibility, he said that increasing the population is the nation’s mission and that the cultural sector is at the forefront of supporting families.
He added that implementation of the plan will be a practical step towards broader participation of families to benefit from the country’s precious heritage.
