Tehran – At the same time as Iranian government week (August 23-29), 50 bikers departed from Tehran for Sari, Mazandaran.
These cyclists traveled the Tehran Sari route, observed rules and regulations in the traffic and transport sector of the law enforcement forces, and were expected to return in two days, Irib reported.
Traffic Police Chief Teimour Hosseini said the tour focuses more on observations of driving rules, regulations and discipline, and these issues are priorities for participants at the rally.
He points out the promotion of a culture of safe and correct driving, adding that interest in motorcycles among people, especially young people, can attract them to these competitions, and as they observe traffic rules and regulations and drive along the route, this important issue will be institutionalized for them.
The CEO of Touring & Automobile Club of Iran’s Islamic Republic (TACI) also said the slogan for the rally is to “drill safely, learn more and stay healthy.”
Mohahmmad-Hossein Soufi added that holding rally tours on a variety of themes is one of TACI’s programs.
Each gathering has a cultural connection, promoting a culture and message held in a variety of areas, particularly safety, sustainable tourism and responsible travel, he noted.
After a night in Sari, participants were expected to return Tehran on Friday night, he added.
