TEHRAN – Iran will hold an exhibition dedicated to ecotourism, camps and related industries from September 3rd to 6th, saying on Monday at Shah Akhtab International Fairgrounds in southern Tehran.
Mostafa Fatemi, Director of the Domestic Tourism Development, Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, said the exhibition is the largest event in the ecotourism sector and attracts major domestic and foreign companies each year.
Fatemi said the exhibition will cover over 13,000 square meters of net space and 30,000 square meters of total display area and will provide wide participation from industry stakeholders.

The event will be held in four halls with camping and climbing equipment, off-road vehicles, four-wheel drive vehicles and other ecotourism-related products.
Fatemi said the exhibition aims to encourage domestic travel, reduce foreign currency outflows, and promote responsible tourism and environmental protection.
