Tehran – Famous archaeologist Alileza Jafari Zand has no indication of Seljuk Palace on the Kamal Zarin site in Isfahan, and published news has no scientific basis and is advertised.
According to Mehr’s news agency, he expressed regret over the trends in the second stage of recent excavations in the Kamar-Zarrin passage.
It was the first time I discovered Kamar Zarrin’s passageway and made it public to prevent destruction. If he knew in advance that such a process would occur on the Kamar-Zarrin site, he would remain silent and emphasized that the area would prefer to stay under asphalt.
He reiterated, unfortunately, that the second phase of Kamal Zarin’s excavation had wandered away like the first phase. “The news I received from the second stage of the excavation is more useful for treasure hunters than science or archaeology.”
Archaeologists said Seljuk Palace is not located in the passageway of Kamal Zarin, but it has nothing to do with this location. “The next place discovered a number of Safavid coins that are not important in scientific exploration. The goal of archaeology is not to provide clues to smugglers, but to shed light on dark history.”
Jafari-Zand continued as the foundations of the restored and now renovated Kamar-Zarrin Mosque date back to the Buyid period. “It is impossible for a work from the Seljuk era to be formed during the BuyID era. If there were works from the Seljuk era, there would have been Al Buyid’s works underneath.”
“Initially, we warned that the site should be excavated by expert archaeologists, but this warning was not taken seriously and became an internship location for archaeology students and those with no expertise in this field.”
