TEHRAN – Greek Iranian cultural consultants announced an exhibition of Iranian handicrafts at the 89th International Fair in Thessaloniki, Greece’s second largest city, on September 6-14.
The pavilion introduced Iran’s rich culture. It reports that a valuable complex of most notable Iranian handicrafts, including ceramics, wood carvings, miniatures and other works.
Iranian groups called the event a unique opportunity for Greek masses and international exhibitions, a unique opportunity for exhibitions to experience authentic, lasting Iranian art firsthand, and said, “The warm welcome of visitors, especially art lovers and craft activists, demonstrated the appeal and importance of Iranian cultural heritage at an international level.”
The active presence of the cultural advisors of the Islamic Republic Embassy of the Iranian Embassy at the 89th Thessaloniki International Fair was an opportunity to strengthen the scientific, cultural and academic cooperation between Iran and Greece.
During the exhibition, Iranian cultural counselors visited various booths to hold constructive meetings and discussions with scientific and cultural institutions, university professors, students, renowned researchers and inventors.
