TEHRAN – Mohammadreza Kordan, police commander responsible for the protection of Mazandara’s cultural heritage, has announced the discoveries of 113 historical and cultural objects in Ferreidan County, Mazandara.
According to a Mehr press, he said that following reports from the guardian of the Honorary Heritage, individuals with known identities are working with the officers of the protection department, police, and with the judicial authorities to keep the historic object of being officers of the protection department at the shelter, in cooperation with the judicial body that has succeeded in discovering and inheriting 113 parts of the historical subject.
He added that the discovered objects include gold, silver and copper coins, necklaces, earrings, daggers and old stones belonging to various historical periods, with important cultural and archaeological values.
Cordan explained that three suspects were arrested during the operation and referred to the Feredun Kenner police and the public and revolutionary courts for technical investigations and legal proceedings.
Ultimately, he thanked the prosecutor’s office and the Feredun Kanel Police Command for the effective cooperation in carrying out the operation.
