Tehran – The vintage car show was held at the Niavalan Cultural History complex in Tehran, which introduced tourism possibilities and encouraged cultural and social engagement, organizers said.
According to the IRIB, the event was held in collaboration with Tourism Week celebrations in collaboration with the Niavalan Cultural History Complex and Touring & Automobile Club of Iran (TACI).
This sightseeing tour was attended by Taci Head Mohammad-Hossein Soufi, manager of the Niavalan cultural and historic complex, Shalood Meer Entekabi, with the participation of 31 Volkswagen vintage cars.
Each car was decorated with the names of Iranian provinces during the event.
As part of modern industrial and cultural heritage, classic cars reflect the evolution of the history and lifestyles of the automotive industry at various times.
In addition to artistic and aesthetic aspects, the preservation and introduction of these cars provides the opportunity to preserve and send parts of the society’s historical and nostalgic identities to future generations.
