Tehran – Iranian writers were inspired by the gospel story of feeding 4,000 people. If Christ were alive today, will he remain in the Vatican or will he sail to Gaza with his Fleet of Freedom?
Nurturing 4000
On one of the days, a large crowd gathered around him, and they were hungry again. Jesus called his disciples and said, “I am compassionate with the crowd, for they have already been with me for three days and have nothing to eat.
His disciples said in surprise.
Jesus asked, “How many bread do you have?” They said, “7.” He then ordered the crowd to sit on the ground. He then took seven breads, gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to his disciples. The disciples gave them to the people. They also found some small fish. He blessed them and told them to set them up before the people.
And they were all satisfied with eating. And the disciples took up seven baskets full of remaining broken pieces. And they were about 4,000 people. Jesus then rejected the crowd and quickly boarded a boat with his disciples and entered the area of Dharmanuta.
The Pharisees seek miracles
When the Pharisees heard that Jesus was coming, they gathered and fought against him. To test him, they asked him to sign him from heaven to prove his authority. And Jesus sighed deeply at his spirit, “Why is this generation always seeking signs? Really, I say to you, I don’t give it a sign.”
He then left them, reached the boat and crossed the lake.
The Pharisees and Herod’s Pann
However, the disciples had forgotten to eat enough bread with them, and they only had one bread on the boat.
As they were walking along the lake, Jesus warned them, “Beware of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod.”
So the disciples began to argue with one another about the fact that they had no bread.
Jesus knew they were arguing with each other. So he said, “Why are you discussing the issue of not having bread? You still don’t see or understand? Is your mind hardened to understand? People with eyes, why can’t you see?
Why are you not listening with your ears open? Remember how you gave 5000 bread to 5000? How many baskets are there full of fragments? “They replied, “12.”
He said, “When I give 4,000 people seven breads, how many baskets are there full of fragments?”
They said, “Seven baskets!”
He said, “Do you still not understand?”
I am a university professor, a Muslim writer and director, but as long as I respect the Prophet Muhammad, I also love other religious leaders and prophets, especially Moses and Jesus. He reads books about old and new testimonials and quotes them to his students.
It has been a long time since I saw the ritual ceremony of your successor as the Pope of Rome. These large tables, luxurious clothes, and the silence that begins at the secluded corner of the monastery and ends in Rome. In the New Testament, Christ, I know you. Not only did he feel compassion for hunger and thirst, he also moved from city to city to save people from hunger. And this question grew in my mind. If you attended the Vatican today in place of this respected Pope and his grand institution, like your successor, writes an invalid message at 9 o’clock on the Vatican site through your advisor, and then pray for the fierce people of Gaza, where this sculpture was lying in sleep, and then? Or, according to these same biblical stories, are you now on a boat heading to Gaza to bless hungry children there?
Which is more true, your Bible writings or the actions of your successors?
If your successor truly believed in your Bible, he should be in the middle of the sea and on this caravan’s ship.
For me, brave and say that these brave men and women of the global smooth fleet are your true successors. I don’t see most of the leaders of Islamic countries as Muhammad and true Islam followers. Just as Netanyahu’s actions should not be linked to Moses or the Jewish religion. And maybe Trump and Western leaders are not symbols of democracy and humanity.
So Christ! You will return to the ship with your real followers and board.
