TEHRAN–A specialized conference on the theme of “Sia Chador and Stone Architecture in the Ulaman of Kodestan” will be held in Tehran with the presence of Korean architectural historian Namseop Choi.
According to Mirash Alia (CHTN), the speakers will include Mohammad Ebrahim Zarei, director of the Institute of the Ministry of Culture and Heritage, and Pouya Talebnia, head of the Kordestan Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, and Nader Karimian Sardashti will be the general secretary of the conference.
The rally will be held on Saturday at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage’s research institute.
This program aims to investigate the role of Shea Chador (nomadic black tents) and stone architecture in the cultural identity and architectural heritage of the Ulaman region of Kordestan province, and to exchange ideas with national and international experts.
