Israeli forces resumed attacks on Lebanon on Saturday with a series of airstrikes targeting areas in southern and eastern Lebanon, continuing to violate the ceasefire agreement.
According to al-Mayadeen, the series of attacks hit the highlands surrounding the towns of Talaya and Shmester in the Bekaa region of eastern Lebanon.
In the south, Israeli warplanes bombed the Jabal al-Rafi area, the outskirts of the town of Sojod, and the al-Nakra valley near the town of Kfar Hammam.
Airstrikes also successively targeted the wooded heights of Ikrim al-Tufa, al-Jarmak, al-Mahmoudiyah, and Kfar Hammam. The Al Jabul area was also attacked by Israel.
At the same time, Israeli media reported that the Israeli Air Force was carrying out waves of airstrikes in the Bekaa and Nabatiyeh areas.
After a major attack, an Israeli drone targeted a car on a side road between Majdal Serum and Shakra, killing its passenger. The passenger in the vehicle was identified as a member of the Fourah City Council.
Israeli quadcopters then dropped stun grenades on the town of Maroun al-Ras.
