TEHRAN – President Masoud Pezeshkian on Wednesday visited the Iranian Red Crescent Society and the Tehran Emergency Medical Services Organization and praised the dedicated staff who provided tireless service during the US and Israeli invasions.
Speaking at the IRCS headquarters in Tehran, Mr. Pezeshkian said that your selfless efforts around the clock are a clear manifestation of the high human spirit and social responsibility that was able to restore hope and peace to society at a critical time.
Pezeshkian said people did not lack access to emergency medical services.
During a visit to the Emergency Medical Services Organization, Mr. Pezeshikian stressed that any military action against other countries violates widely accepted principles.
“Under what authority and for what crimes were attacks on our country carried out? What is the justification within the framework of international law and humanitarian principles for targeting civilians, elites, children and destroying civilian infrastructure such as schools and hospitals?”
He added that Iran does not seek war or instability and always values dialogue and constructive exchanges with other countries.
“Any attempt to force the country to surrender is doomed to failure, and the Iranian state will never accept such an approach.”
The President stressed that the unique and exemplary unity and unity of the people during the 40 days of resistance had disappointed the enemies with sinister intentions.
He concluded that when there is such a spirit among the people and officials, the authority of the state is strengthened, and in such a situation no power can bring the country to its knees.
