Joab Gallant, former Israeli war minister, confirmed that Israeli occupation forces had been ordered to implement Hannibal’s orders.
Gallant also criticized former police security minister Itamar Ben Gwil for the provocative storm at the Al Aksa Mosque, which “stopped the situation.”
Israeli forces face a wave of resignation following the failure on October 7th. Israel Channel 13 described the situation as “shock waves within the Army.”
Lt. Gen. Helji Halevi, the “Israel” commander, announced his resignation on January 21, citing accountability for the military’s “failure” during the October 7 operation due to Palestinian resistance.
In his resignation, published by the Army, Halevi said he had resigned “to account for his responsibility for his (military) failure on October 7th.”
While claiming that his departure came amid “a significant success” by the army, Halevi admitted that “all” of the purposes of the war were not met.
Additionally, Major General Jaron Finkelman, commander of the “Israel” Confederate Command, has resigned.
In a speech aired on the evening of his resignation, Halevi emphasized that Israeli forces “must provide the answer to the failure of October 7th and learn from those mistakes.”
Israeli occupational Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Gallant cites violations of trust during the ongoing war with Gaza.
Netanyahu noted in a statement that substantial strategic disagreements have recently emerged between him and Gallant. Last month, Israeli media reported that Netanyahu was trying to dismiss the Guaranteed, citing “interfering with the spread of attacks on Lebanon.”
Netanyahu emphasized that full trust was “important” between the PM and the security minister during the war, adding, “Unfortunately, this trust was eroded and attempts to fill the gap have failed.”
He argued that the disagreement was not only made public in an unacceptable way, but also that it “reached Israel’s ‘enemy.’
