Egypt formulates plans to rebuild Gaza without ousting Palestinians from the strip at the counter of President Donald Trump’s proposal to depopulate President Donald Trump’s territory so that the US can take over it. I’m doing it.
Egyptian state-run Al-Afram Newspaper establishes “safe areas” within Gaza, where Palestinians can first live, while Egypt and international construction companies remove and rehabilitate strip infrastructure. He said the proposal is asking for.
Egyptian officials are in talks with European diplomats as well as Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, according to Egyptian officials and Arab and Western diplomats.
They are also discussing ways to fund reconstruction, including an international conference on reconstruction in Gaza, one Egyptian official and one Arab diplomat, reported by The Associated Press.
Officials and diplomats spoke on condition of anonymity as the proposal is still negotiated.
Meanwhile, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatti has once again refused to expel the Palestinians from their lands.
Speaking at the fourth meeting of the Global Alliance to implement the so-called two-state solutions, Abdelatti said, “The serious humanitarian crisis in Gaza requires an early recovery process,” and the reconstruction was “clear, A clear, clear, specific timeline.”
He said “Egypt is working to develop a comprehensive multi-stage vision for the early recovery and reconstruction of Gaza,” and called for global support for UNRWA, which is banned by Israel. The Minister described the institution as “essential and irreplaceable.”
Egypt’s proposal comes after an international rage over Trump’s call to remove Gaza’s population of around 2 million Palestinians. Trump said the US will take over the Gaza Strip and rebuild it into the “Middle Eastern Riviera,” but the Palestinians will not be returned.
