Tehran – Iran’s Deputy Vice President of International Affairs and Regional Cooperation, Ali Najafi, stresses the need to strengthen tourism cooperation between the Islamic Republic and Kyrgyzstan.
During his visit to Bishkek on Saturday, Najafi held separate meetings between Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Minister Jane Bekkurbayev and Economic Minister Bakit Sizhikov.
Authorities also explored ways to promote greater exchanges of tourists and to promote cultural interactions between the two countries. They also emphasized the importance of ongoing dialogue and high-level visits to advance cooperative efforts.
Moreover, Najafi highlighted the recent achievements of Iran’s acquisition of observer status in the Eurasian Economic Union, and described it as an important opportunity to expand its economic partnership with member states, including Kyrgyzstan.
