TEHRAN – The Cairo emergency Arab Summit has approved Egypt’s plan to rebuild the Gaza Strip.
In a detailed, 112-page document, the Egyptian government outlined the highly anticipated plan for reconstruction of Gaza.
The summit concluded with a final statement addressing important issues related to occupied Palestine.
The statement highlighted that the reconstruction plan seeks to maintain Gaza and the West Bank under a single, unified authority.
The summit emphasized the importance of finalizing the ceasefire in Gaza and recognized it as a major challenge.
The statement also reaffirmed the Arab stance against attempts to drive away the Palestinian people, regardless of the pretext.
In responsibility for President Donald Trump’s plan to move to Gaza, the statement rejected an alternative that reaffirms the forced ouster of Palestinians and support for the Palestinian state.
The final statement emphasized that Egyptian plans would ensure relations between the occupied West Bank and Gaza, and that “peace would guarantee a strategic choice for the Arabs.”
The summit also explored the creation of a new security and political framework for Gaza, urging the UN Security Council to deploy international peacekeeping forces both in Gaza and the West Bank.
Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammadmustafa has expressed his support for the proposed Arab program and confirmed that efforts will be made on all parties to ensure its implementation.
In the summit’s conclusion, Mustafa highlighted the importance of relying on “patriotism of all parties” and announced the initiative for a national dialogue aimed at addressing all issues.
Hamas, the Palestinian Resistance Group, welcomed the reconstruction plan adopted at the Arab summit and called for it to ensure all the conditions necessary for its success.

During the summit, leaders in Egypt and Jordan, particularly expressed support for Gaza’s reconstruction plan, denying the war to resume and the evacuation of Palestinians.
Palestinian authorities President Mahmoud Abbas praised the Arab plan to rebuild Gaza, urging President Donald Trump to support his reconstruction efforts, and emphasized the importance of ensuring that Palestinians in Gaza are not evacuated.
Abbas announced the “Vision of Palestinian” and announced that he is ready to hold a general election “if conditions allow” next year. He also proposed the creation of a vice presidential position for both the Palestinian state and the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO).

Similarly, King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa of Bahrain rejected plans to drive away the Palestinians and expressed strong support for Gaza’s Egyptian plans.
Lebanon President Joseph Aoun stressed the need for a strong, principled stance, arguing that there would be no peace without Palestinian rights and the liberation of Lebanon’s land.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres pointed out that the Palestinians experienced bailouts early in the ceasefire agreement, highlighting the need to prevent the resumption of the declared fighting.
Guterres also emphasized the importance of establishing a political framework for the reconstruction of Gaza in accordance with international law. He argued that Gaza must remain an integral part of the Palestinian state without territorial cuts.
In his speech at the emergency summit, Guterres highlighted the important role of the United Nations Relief and Labor Agency (UNRWA) for Palestinian refugees operating under extremely difficult conditions. He urged full financial and logistical support for the institution.
Trump suggests that the territory will be “developed” while the US effectively controls Gaza and replaces its population with neighboring countries, including Jordan and Egypt.
He said, “The US will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will use it to work, and we will own it.”
This statement has been widely criticized worldwide for supporting the Americans for ethnic cleansing.
