Caracas – Traces of Resistance, a culturally artistic event featuring works by renowned Iranian and Latin American artists, was launched on Tuesday at the National Museum of Caracas in Venezuela.
The opening ceremony was attended by high rank cultural and artistic officials, including Silru Karimi, Charge de Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Faramarji, Iran’s cultural attapping, Venezuela Minister of Arts and Culture, Venezuela, Minister of Arts and Culture from both artists, Charge de Aaaaaatan Karimi, and cultural officials from both the Kingdom.
Speaking at the ceremony, Pemjan emphasized the need to hold such events to raise public awareness of crimes committed by the Zionists who occupy the regime against Palestinians, particularly women and children.
Furthermore, a charity in the Islamic Republic of Iran spoke of the Palestinian cause, saying, “The Palestinian causes take many forms. Some take weapons to protect this cause, while others respect Venice, far from Palestine, in this place.”
He said, “The support of the Palestinian Venezuelan people peaked in the days of President Hugo Chavez and continues to this day. We welcome artists and hope that the event will open new windows towards consciousness and solidarity.”
Famous Venezuelan playwright Luis Britt Garcia also highlighted the cultural and historical commonalities between Iran and Venezuela in the struggle with imperialism. He noted that such events promote unity and strengthened the resolve of both countries on the path of resistance.
The culturally artistic event “Trags of Resistance,” organized by the cultural obsession of the Iranian Islamic Republic of Venezuela and the international issues of Iran’s Islamic ideology spreading agency, will continue for a week.
The event will feature an exhibition of works by Iranian and Latin American illustrators and graphic artists, including Mohammad Saber Sheiklezai, Mohammad Hosseinnilmando, Ivan Lila, Flavia Machado, Ingrid Neves, Pablo Placencia, Ettenkaavalo and several other artists. Additionally, some of the events will include professional discussions and artistic workshops with these artists.
The event is seen as an opportunity to strengthen cultural and artistic relations between Iran and Venezuela. At the same time, the ceremony commemorating QUDS Day will be held on Friday at Youth Square in Caracas.
