Tehran – A Persian translation of the book “The Scientific Revolution” written by Peter Dia was released in Iranian bookstores.
Abdolhossein Azarang and Negar Naderi translated the book, and Morvarid’s publication pulled it, Ilna reported.
This award-winning book offers insightful insight into how the scientific revolution happened and why. From Copernicus, which put the Earth in orbit around the Sun to Isaac Newton, who gave the world a universal gravity, the scientific revolutions of the 17th and 17th centuries changed the way Europeans understand their world.
In this book, Peter Deer offers an accessible introduction to the origins of modern science for students and the general reader. Additionally, it explores the practices and influences of alchemy, the social status of early scientists, and the role of medicine and practitioners.
This book provides a comprehensive overview of the main themes and topics. We discuss central figures such as Copernicus, Kepler, Galileo, and Newton, and explain the world they lived and the new world they created. It also features a rich variety of illustrations, glossary for terminology, and a list of readings. He was the winner of the Watson and Helen Miles Davis Awards in History of the Science Society.
Peter Deer, 67, is a professor of science and technology research and history at Cornell University. He wrote and edited many books on these topics.
