Tehran – The Arasbaran Cultural Centre in Tehran aims to accustom children and young people to Iranian national heroes, creating “the tales of our land Iran” in a visual form and narrates the epic tales of these champions.
In response to the heinous attacks by the Zionist regime on the martial religion of beloved Iran and numerous civilian martialism, including innocent children and teenagers, the Alasborough Cultural Center has condemned this unforgivable crime and launched a project to create a visual narrative directed by Amir Mashhadi Abbas, which is comprised of 50 episodes. The IRNA reported on Friday.
Children and adolescents as future builders of this land need recognition in the face of the threat posed by foreign invasion and Zionism. Therefore, accustoming this demographic to educational and epic Iranian stories, as well as fighter jets and national heroes, strengthens their courage and patriotism spirit, the report added.
The visual project consists of 50 episodes each lasting 3-5 minutes, featuring epic narration of Iranian heroes by a group of storytelling artists aimed at children and adolescents. These stories will be broadcast on children’s programs across a variety of visual networks and other social media platforms.
Parents who want to provide their children with access to these visual stories can visit the Apalat Channel and other social media platforms of the Arasbaran Cultural Centre, which are associated with the centre and other cultural and arts organizations in the Tehran Municipality.
The launch of the animated series represents an important cultural initiative aimed at instilling a sense of national pride and historical awareness among the younger generation of Iranians. The project comes at a time of high tension in the region, particularly due to Israel’s continued strike in Iran. By focusing on the stories of national heroes, the series seeks to provide children and adolescents with relevant figures that embody courage, resilience and patriotism.
Historically, Iran has a rich, heroic tale tapestry that shines for centuries, characterized by figures of real events that have shaped myths, literature, and national identity. These stories often serve as sources of moral lessons and inspiration, encouraging values such as courage, sacrifice, and loyalty to their homeland. In the context of modern challenges, such stories can play an important role in fostering collective memories that emphasize unity and strength in the face of adversity.
Furthermore, the choice to utilize animated storytelling is particularly effective at attracting younger audiences. Animation has the power to captivate children’s imaginations and make complex historical stories more accessible and interesting. By leveraging modern media platforms, the Arasbaran Cultural Center not only reaches a larger audience, but also adapts traditional storytelling methods to suit modern consumption habits.
As this series unfolds, it will contribute to the broader cultural discourse within Iran and encourage families to explore their heritage while reinforcing a sense of shared identity among young Iranians at challenging times.
