TEHRAN – The audiobook of the Persian version of British screenwriter and author Georgia Pritchett’s “Wilf the Mighty Warrior Rescues the Dinosaurs” has been released by Ketab Park, the publisher of the Persian print version of the book.
Narrated by Bahman Vahshoğlu, this audiobook features the voices of Sahar Hosseini, Hasti Sadeqi, Yasaman Gadirpour, and Aya and Ilya Vavshoğlu.
Wilf the Mighty Worrier Rescues the Dinosaurs, translated by Lyda Hadi, is the fifth installment in the Wilf the Mighty Worrier story series, following four previously released audiobooks. The series revolves around a boy named Wilf who embarks on an extraordinary adventure with his sister.
The story begins with the introduction of Wilf, a dreamy and timid boy with a variety of fears, from skeletons and the dark night to giant dinosaurs. His sister is a dinosaur enthusiast who even knows the names of strange creatures. Their mother suggests a visit to a dinosaur museum.
Despite his misgivings, Wilf agrees and prepares to face his misgivings with a helmet and black mustard glasses. Along the way, mischievous friend Alan and his dog Kevin Phillips also join the group.
Strange events occur at the museum, leading Alan to invent a time machine. An unintended journey takes them first to the court of Henry VIII and then to the age of the dinosaurs. Children will encounter real dinosaurs and even make friends with a Tyrannosaurus rex.
Using a guidebook titled “How to Overcome Fear”, Wilf seeks to overcome his fears and finds his way back home with the help of his new friends. Through his adventures, Wilf learns that courage is more than just not being afraid. It’s about facing fear and helping others.
Running approximately two hours and two minutes, “Wilf the Mighty Worrier Rescues the Dinosaurs” was directed by Bahman Vakhshour and edited by Hasti Sadeqi.
